I am a family and wedding photographer and have lived in Reading, Berkshire for over 20 years. I moved from London after graduating in BSc Hons Computer and Network engineering. I worked in IT for 24 years and still have a website development business. Although not a traditional route to photography, photography has been a passion of mine since I was a child. At university I could always be found taking photos of my friends, but couldn’t always afford to develop the film!

Reading is a town rich in history and culture, I have lived here for over twenty years, I love the diversity around 35% of Reading’s population is from minority ethnic backgrounds, making it one of the most diverse towns in the UK outside of London. Over 150 languages are spoken here. Reading is also diverse on economic and social diversity, we attract professionals from a wide range of sectors including technology, finance and education. We have a fantastic university for which I capture beautiful graduation photos each year.

We are proud to be home to Reading Pride, a festival that started in 2003 it’s aim was to provide a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community and to increase visibility and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues. The event starts with a lively parade through the town centre,  you’ll see floats, marching bands, and people from many community groups.

I personally love the green spaces and beautiful parks, having recently moved to Caversham, we particulary love Richmond Road park. As a family we love to volunteer as photographers at the local parkruns. We are a family of runners and love to explore Caversham and Reading whilst running. We all train at Palmer Park running track and gym where Reading Roadrunners ( a large running club) and Fundamental Fitness (a young person’s running club) reside.

Reading is also known for its vibrant arts scene, and shopping areas Reading provides a diverse range of locations for stunning photography. From the historic Reading Abbey ruins to the photographic landscapes of the Thames Valley, there are endless opportunities to capture the essence of your special moments.

Whether you’re planning a wedding, celebrating a family reunion, or simply want to document the beauty of everyday life, I am here to help you create images that tell your story. Let’s work together to make your vision come to life through the art of photography.
