Ridge Farm was started as a quiet place to practice for bands and musicians by Frank, along with his brother, it became such a success that he was able to buy the farm from their parents.
Now the farm provides a beautiful and peaceful setting for relaxed couples who want an unforgettable place to get married. The licenses and registered wedding venue, has multiple places that couples can have their ceremony. The woodland setting is reached by crossing a bridge over a little stream. Guests are seated under a large sail canopy, on logs covered with circular pieces of carpet. The couple will have a backdrop of the woodland setting.
The is plenty of room for a photographer to move around to capture guest expressions, as well as a surreal woodland ceremony. If access is an issue due to older guests or disabled guests, the ceremony can take place in many other accessible locations on the Farm’s gardens. The lawn in the front of the house is also available as well as the pool house.

At Ridge Farm you can hold a enjoy a truly unique event for up to 150 day guests. Exclusive use of the Farmhouse, Bridal Cottage, poolhouse and grounds for the whole weekend and with no compulsory extras, leaves you free to create your event the way you wish.
Having three days the couple and guests can enjoy time and space to ensure they share their celebration with all their family and friends, without feeling like you’re on a clock.
For winter weddings between October to April and can have a max of 50 guests.
Ridge Farm is actually best known for being a world renowned recording studio, used by musicians and artists from all over the world. This subtle wedding venue known as Ridge Farm Studio was one of the earliest residential recording studios in the United Kingdom! It operated for over 25 years and many musicians and producers came here, stayed here and recorded their music here.
A lighting technician called Franks Andrews toured with ABBA, Queen and The Rolling Stones, came back to Ridge Farm to discover that his parents had moved on to a different location and Ridge Farm Studio was created.
